Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam 26 km
It is the largest and longest roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam in the world. As Nakornnayok has long suffered from flood and drought, His Majesty King Bhumipol initiated the dam project to help solving the problems. His Majesty the King personally came to inspect the area in 1993 and spoke to local people about their problems. He then decided that water management and irrigation system would solve many problems, resulted in Tha Dan Dam Project.
Visitors can either walk or take a tour bus along the top of the dam to enjoy some spectacular scenery.
| Sarika Waterfall 21 km|
It’s one of the most well-known waterfalls in the area. This 9-tier waterfall has large pools at each tier that lure visitors to go up as high as they could.
To get Sarika Waterfall, from City Center take Highway no. 3049 for about 12 km., then turn left to Highway No. 3050, proceed to another 3 km.
It’s open from 08.00-17.00 daily. It’s best to visit during rainy season, July-October.
| Makhabucha Park 12 km|
The park is located near Sarika Waterfall and has just newly opened to the public in 2014. You will find a huge image of a Buddha in an “ovadapatimokha” position surrounded by 1,250 smaller-size Buddha images. Visitors are welcome to make merits everyday.
| Nangrong Waterfall 25 km|
Nangrong Waterfall is also as famous as many other waterfalls. It has several levels, the cool water runs from Khao Yai Natonal Park those who love water play activities can perfectly enjoy themselves. It’s best to visit during rainy season, July-October.
| Wangtrakrai National Park 23 km|
|The area of the park is 1,500 Rai, consisting of various flora and fauna, as the land is so big, visitors are allowed to drive around. Not only, it’s well-known for those who enjoy rafting but also, those who love grilled chicken, it’s a “must try” when you visit the Park. |

| Ganesha Park 14 km|
|It’s a place built for worshiping Ganesha, the Lord of learning. There are two Ganesha images and they are the biggest Ganesha images in Thailand. It is believed that Ganesha uses the mouse as a vehicle to communicate with his followers so, you would witness many people whispering into the mouse's ears.|
| The Bhumirak Dhamachart Center 24 km|
|The Bhumirak Dhamachart Center is the center that exhibits His Majesty the King Bhumibol’s self-development concept and theory. Numerous Royal Development Projects are presented to the public through various activities. The demonstrations can be categorised into 4 major areas, soil management, water management, forest management and human management. | Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy 15 km|
This is a Thai military cadet training centre but visitors are welcome. There are various activities that you can do here ;for instance, parachute training jump, shooting, archery etc.
